”The hotel is located at a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre of Portree. The views from the hotel breakfast room and terrace are amazing! The lobby and bar area are nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Just a few improvements would make this hotel perfect: The breakfast service would be better if started at 7 am, since many customers leave early to continue their trip. Also, the dinner service ended quite early and the menu...

”Our stay at the Skye Inn was made very enjoyable because the Staff were so welcoming and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast menu was both varied and delicious served with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. A tray filled with choices of tea coffee and chocolate was a bonus.Fresh milk was replenished when required. Our dog had a wonderful reception.”

”We enjoyed the quiet location and it was an ideal spot for exploring the highlights of the Isle of Skye. The location needs a bigger sign to indicate the driveway. We had to ask some strangers for directions when we were trying to find it. We could also have used a bit more toilet paper and towels. The pillows in the room with the double bed were thin and unsupportive. Apart from this we had a pleasant stay.”

”The apt was clean enough. Felt a bit like being in a dormitory. The soap dispensers were half full. Ashtray with cigarette butts was left outdoors on the table and was filled with rain water. Most disappointing was the shower. It looked new, but did not work properly. Hot and cold and hot and cold water. Needs to be corrected. ”
