”When my daughter and I walked into our room, the toilet seat was up and the water was running. The bowl was stained brownish red and there were pubic hairs on rim. There were two queen beds. Mine had definitely been slept in and not changed. There were long hair strands on one of my three pillows and in the bed as well as small short black hairs on top and under the top sheet. There were also hairs in the moldy shower. It really was gross. Not what I would expect for one night at $139”

”It was less expensive. Wasn't expecting it to be fancy but our stay wasn't with out drama. Checking was not smooth. Desk Clerk was confused due to too many things happening at the same time. She gave us the wrong stlye room. Then had to what in the car for them to clean another room for 20 mins. The one of the cleaning staff didn't show up for work. Then there wasn't any remote for our TV. They had no replacement, so we had no TV. When we checked out the Clerk didn't know if we had paid a...

”The AC was fine”

”Check-in was easy. My room was so spacious and clean. The staff was kind enough to switch out my down pillows for hypoallergenic ones. The fireplace in the living room was a bonus. Parking was easy. It was super quiet. There was a full, well stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.”

”The room smelled like cigarettes. Filled out a survey and complained to the front desk said it would be taken care of by cleaning crew and it still smelled the next day”

”I love this hotel! The staff is ALWAYS friendly, even late at night which is when I usually arrive. My daughter attends DSU and it is local to the school, so this I always my hotel choice in the area. The hotel is clean and the renovations have made it even nicer.”

”We stayed in room 205. We arrived late to check in and had a difficult time getting inside. We rang the bells several times and then eventually called and someone finally came to the front desk to buzz us in. The smell when we arrived and after housekeeping cleaned the room was not very pleasant. The toilet seat did not have a cover which is not very sanitary. Netflix stopped working on the television. The front desk attendant said to try restarting everything because he wasn’t sure how to fix...

”Excellent place to stay if you are in the Dover area. Close to anything you’d need during your stay. Staff is very helpful and the breakfast was awesome.”

”Apart from a few stray hairs and very mild stains on the bedding (which seems to be the case at the vast majority of places), the room was very clean and cozy. Well lit room, great shower, immaculately clean bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, good wifi, very effective heater, and (free) parking very close to room. Staff was very welcoming upon arrival, and everything worked as expected, making White Oaks an amazing value for my stay in the area!”

”Room had a mildew odor, TV only had 26 channels, Air Conditioner/Heating system was not working properly, no phone landlind in the room. The whole 1st floor hallway had a stinky odor. Felt very uncomfortable in the room. Weird sounds all night long. Seemed more like a shelter for homeless individuals. ”

”The room was clean and the staff were polite, but they offered a terrible breakfast. I had to go out and buy food for own food. Only offered make your own waffles, packaged muffins and white bread to toast. No eggs or protein. Poor!”
