”This location is terrific for getting into Washington DC to see all the touristy things. We also could walk to many restaurants and Trader Joe’s is only half mile away. Only issue was poor lighting in the unit including the light over the dining table which did not work the entirety of our stay. They couldn’t fix it. Dining in the dark. We also had to swap bulbs from various fixtures to get light over the door. The bathroom and bedroom have very dim lighting.”

”The location was within walking distance to everything that was on our agenda for thr weekend including the metro station. We were hoping for an early check-in due to having a jammed packed itinerary but they could only accommodate 15 minutes early and we had already left for the next museum. However, they were able to hold our bags which was a huge help. The place was clean and the room had all the essentials. I realize being in a city, prices are high but no breakfast? I should have picked...

”Old, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that. Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to...

”Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. There was a noticeable unpleasant odor throughout several areas of the property, including the lobby, elevator, hallways, and our room. The accommodations also felt dated and did not meet the luxury standard we were expecting. The refrigerator and washing machine were older and quite noisy, and the sofa in the living room had a strong urine like odor that made it difficult to use comfortably. Considering the price we paid, we felt...

"Clean and big room. Nice pool."

citizenM Washington DC Capitol

10/10 Loistava

"Clean and nice hotel very close to L’Enfant plaza metro (use entrance/exit B). Friendly service. Tiny room but worked well for us. Only minor complaint would be the water pressure in the shower was kinda lame…but like I said, minor. Enjoyed my stay and very much loved the pillows and comfy bed :)"

Motto by Hilton Washington DC Downtown

8/10 Hyvä

"Had a good 5-night stay here, everything worked. Although the room was snug, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom did the job (thought the night light was a great addition), and the location was superb (although a bit restless in the evenings). Only down side was the sound insulation which was alright, for a couple nights I could hear some machine humming away (fairly loudly) in the hallway, no clue what it was for, but was grateful when it finally stopped. All in all, great place with good connections and a comfortable stay in many ways."
