”This property was perfectly located to the beach, exceptionally clean and well maintained. We went in October so it was a slower season. We loved it… you could open the door and hear the crash of the waves. Beach access was simple and just across the street. Town is walkable for the most part. During busy season, you probably just want walk most of the time. Everyone was very friendly and will be back. ”

”Everything about this home was wonderful! Beds were comfortable, home was clean, great access to everything. Communications before and after our stay with Pearl were great!! Didn't need to contact her during our stay because there were no issues with the home. Great, detailed instructions were provided. Will absolutely stay again!”

”Such a great place! We had two families (8 people total) and comfortably fit. The view of the ocean is great from the balconies. The hot tub was a nice addition, and it was fantastic to have steps leading straight to the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! ”

”Very clean house that suited our family’s needs. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to a beautiful beach. Our host & her concierge, Melissa, promptly answered any questions. Fully equipped kitchen although some cookware may need replacing soon. Everyone in our family commented how comfortably the beds were-a BIG factor in enjoying vacation time!!”

”The home was inviting. We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to know of construction going on next door. That was a bit of an inconvenience because of the noise so early in the mornings...vacations we tend to like to sleep in a little later than normal.. We loved the sleepy town feeling of the island. We would choose to stay here in the future once the construction is finished.”

”We enjoyed this house and the location. It was reasonably spacious, very clean and not overburdened with beach-themed tchotchkes. One particular episode to note: the kitchen sink faucet broke during our stay and the Carolina Retreats personnel were very helpful finding a plumber on short notice to replace it. Everyone was gracious and efficient and we want to note our appreciation. ”

”This home was perfect for our gathering of family and friends. They welcome your dogs and the location of this home was great to walk your dog and ride your bike or even run/walk for exercise.
