”I was a little concerned at first when looking at this property that it was a little far away from the mountains & lake placid, but it is actually in the perfect location near everything in the area. Great privacy, not a lot of people around, great roads to drive on (no traffic or crowds) and access to anything you could possibly want within a 20 to 30 minute drive. Great value for the money! We used this place for my bachelor party weekend. We all had a great time and it will be in our...

”Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical.
Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!”

”Extremely steep staircase, which is the alleyway for the garage from the stores above the apartment. Needs shades for windows. Needs a new bed, very uncomfortable. The patio that over looks the lake is in bad shape, Good for guys who are just looking for a place in town to sleep. Not really for couples or families.”

”The bathroom was very dirty, and we were not comfortable even using the shower. In addition, the front door does not lock at all, and we had to check in late due to the chalet not being ready. On the plus side, the beds were very comfy and the fireplace was a wonderful bonus. The chalet had a nice selection for tv channels. It needs some definite updating, but overall hosts did try to accommodate by offering us a free night- would recommend after renovations only. ”

”Amazing property with amazing views! Plenty of chairs, fire pit, and picnic table to do all your cooking and eating. The only thing was the horses right next to the camp that scared us in the middle of the night! But the next day they came to say hello again and were much less scary in the daylight!”
