A thoughtfully restored home where original East-End features meet natural materials, soft light and a few quietly beautiful pieces. The open-plan living room and kitchen feel airy and calm — well suited to couples, solo travellers, small families and business stays.

Cinema, hammock & a four-poster
Stream on a 100-inch Epson EpiqVision laser cinema projector (Full-HD HDR, Yamaha sound, built-in Android TV with YouTube, Apple TV, Prime Video and Disney+ — please use your own logins), or roll out a mat for yoga on the big screen. Unwind in a Brazilian hammock beneath a full-height fiddle-leaf fig. Sleep deeply in a solid-wood Moroccan four-poster, framed by soft black felt drapery, on an award-winning Emma premium mattress with feather pillows.

Full kitchen & a calm bathroom
Cook properly in a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Nespresso machine, microwave and washer-dryer. The bathroom is stocked with Prija botanical toiletries and fresh towels.

Sleeps four
A double sofa bed in the living room sleeps two more (on request; small linen fee).
I'm part of the small team behind The Design Traveller, looking after our London homes day to day. My background's in interiors, so I notice the things others walk past — how the light moves through a room, how a space feels first thing in the morning.

We've known this corner of Spitalfields for years. Nothing makes us happier than helping guests settle in and pointing them to the places we'd send a friend — the markets, the coffee, the quiet corners. Anything you need while you're here, just message; we're never far.
Building works
Building management is repainting the communal staircase over the next couple of weeks. During this time the shared stairwell may look a little less glamorous than usual, and you may briefly notice the smell of fresh paint. Your apartment itself is completely unaffected and access is unchanged.

Sleeping arrangements
Main double bed, freshly made and ready for you. Double sofa bed available on request — just let us know if you'd like it prepared (£15 one-off linen fee per stay). Travel cot available free of charge (thin padded base only; no mattress or sheets).

Luggage
Check-in is from 4pm. For early arrivals or late departures, we offer free 2-hour off-site luggage storage nearby via LuggageHero.

Pets
We're happy to welcome one pet per booking. A flat fee applies: 1–7 nights £45/night; 8–29 nights £360 per stay; 30+ nights £720 per stay. Please tell us in advance — the pet fee must be paid before check-in, otherwise entry will be declined and our cancellation policy will apply.

Please note that a security deposit of £350 may be required, depending on your circumstances. All guests are required to complete separate ID verification and sign our rental agreement before check-in.
Liverpool Street Station is a 5-minute walk — the Elizabeth line reaches Bond Street / Oxford Circus in about 8 minutes, alongside the Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines plus National Rail. Fast airport links from Liverpool Street (Stansted Express direct; Heathrow via the Elizabeth line).
