”This hotel was one of my favorites when it was still the mandarin oriental. It just doesn’t have that same class and grace anymore. The staff are not well trained and everything takes an excessively long time. The food in the lounge was terrible. The cocktails were the same as a pub and lacked craft. Turn down service was completely skipped for me, so I had to call to get additional water and coffee pods. The tv’s do not have chromecast or app capabilities, leaving you with basic cable options....

”A winter stay didn't allow for seeing all the benefits of the location, but it seemed like a good spot for metro and highway access. The building is dated but clean. The unit was clean and functional. The kitchen was fine and well appointed with all of the expected necessities. The bathrooms are in need of updating. Some water damage is evident. ”The property was in a very walkable location of Pentagon City and was large. We walked to Pentagon City and many restaurants. The apartment was dirty, we had to wash the sheets on the main bed before we could sleep on it. The floor needed to be mopped and there were food stains on a couple of cabinets. The vacuums and mops were stored in the main bedroom closet where we had to hang our clothes. Not enough trash bags or toilet paper, we ran out.”
