âThe hotel was great and clean. It was near a Park and Ride. Taking a bus from there to the city centre was easy and the journey took only about 10 minutes. However, a downside was that the buses did not run on Christmas Day. Near the hotel, there is not really anything worthwhile to see.

âA treasure of a hotel worth the cost. Very clean rooms with comfy bed and a bath with shower over. Restaurant food was delicious, well priced as well as breakfast which was ordered the night before and you could eat leisurely. Our room included entry to Waddesdon Manor which was a bonus. Car parking was easy. Staff pleasant.â

Breakfasts were great, a good choice from the buffet, and the cooked breakfast, plenty of options - delicious!

âOK room, with carpet. The flushing system in the bathroom worked poorly. My shower had good pressure (top floor) but my friend who lived on ground floor could hardly wash her hair because of poor water pressure.
The over all appearance was that the hotel needs a big face lift, but has good potential. It was cold; the public bathrooms were freezing; the conference rooms were cold,- bad air-conditioning. It seemed worn, and there was a scent of unfreshness in the corridors that seemed like too...
âGood for a short stay, very basic pub accomodation. Located practically in the middle of nowhere and there's no possibility to go for a walk or a run in the evening. The pub downstairs is good, with reasonably priced food and drinks. Friendly staff. Stayed at the room 12 which at the time of my stay didnd't have any shower! This is unacceptable even temporarily, such room should not be offered at all.â
