The staff was really helpful and friendly. Also they were flexible with late check-in (after midnight). Connection to the centre of Venice was easy and fast.
The room is very basic but clean. The humidity is high at least on the upper floors. There is however air conditioning in the room. Wifi access was on and off which was a bit annoying as we were planning our trip ahead from the room.
