”We stayed two nights in Red Baron cabin. The Cabin was otherwise ok, but worn out a little bit. The place was nice with mountains all around. Breakfast was served from 8 to 8.30. The Innkeeper prepared the breakfast herself. It was homemade and different from regular hotels. The bad thing about it was that you couldn´t decide yourself what to have for breakfast. As a whole the place was quite ok but next time I visit Durango I propably go somewhere else”

”This was an absolutely gorgeous, magical, beautiful stay! Terri and Marty made me feel like I had the run of the house while making sure that I had everything that I needed even without asking for it. The breakfast scones were amazing! The bed was super comfy. I absolutely loved the water feature fountain in the entryway. The library was a nice surprise and a wonderful place to have morning coffee. Bella the Purple Poodle and I had a great stay here, and she loved meeting Ivy, their 2 year...

”My family and I had an amazing stay at Honey Rock Landing! This place is truly one of a kind. Staying in a cave and being able to look up at the stars made the entire experience feel incredibly unique and memorable. The farm-to-table cuisine was fantastic and made the stay even more special. We also loved having access to the boathouse and spending time paddle boarding on the pond. The natural-built swimming pool was another highlight—such a cool experience! Honey Rock Landing is so much more...

”The cost for this room is as stated. No frills - bathroom was not very clean - both shower and toilet didn’t look as if a scrub brush was ever used, toilet ran excessively, which is so wasteful. Hard to clean or rinse the coffee pot without possibly breaking it - single cup Keurig would work fine instead of an outdated and horribly stopped up water reservoir ”

”The WiFi is not good at all. Slow with frequent drops. Also, the TVs in the room are nice but have no broadcast connectivity. You have to do it all through your own subscriptions and apps. Aside from that the room was great and the bathroom was nice. The furniture is a little cheap and rickety but that’s relatively minor. Location is amazing. We had no view, but I’m not sure any of the rooms do.”

”A lodge that shows its age but room was clean, the water and cooling worked well, refrigerator and microwave worked well, and beds were super comfortable. Slept great. To the north Salida is about 11 miles. South are a couple other food locations, i.e. Dusty's Roadhouse.”

”This property is NOT as advertised. It is basically an abandoned motel with gravel areas that RVs could park at. Dirty room, stained bedding, beds missing sheets, not adequate towels, amenities not provided that were listed as being there, no people anywhere. Pictures online must have been taken years ago. Rundown, no small store, no water nearby of any sort…”
