”The property appears to be super old, but it was very well maintained and great for us with two small kids. Very clean (even for my picky wife), good breakfast, good location, and I would recommend it as a great value for the price. ”I was adventuring solo for a few days and stayed in the 3-bed hostel room at the Avon. The room was small but the bed was comfy, the amenities were nice (i.e. towels and toiletries in the bathroom), and the staff was welcoming and helpful. It is a funky, cozy, old-timey spot in the mountains, with a covered porch with rocking chairs so you can sit outside and look at the mountains winding down after a day of hiking or having your morning coffee. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks to Pat...
