We really enjoyed walking down to the water and fishing along the clean rocky shore, where we easily caught (and released) multiple fish with minimal time (always a plus with kids). We enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit, and savoring our morning coffee on the deck while taking in the beautiful lake view. Don’t...

”We went to the Gasconade River for a group float last weekend, however we did not want to camp. Instead, we found this charming little guest house in a town we had never heard of. It was perfect! We were close to our friends, but had AC, a clean house and comfortable bed, and we were able to cook a meal. The host left a list of thrift stores in nearby Lebanon and we had a blast. Overall, it was perfect.”
