”We were fortunate enough to stay in the Sunrise Cottage for two nights. The cottage is absolutely brilliant. Well maintained, restored to perfection and welcoming. The bedroom's are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with provisions. The grounds are spacious and being right next to the lighthouse which is spectacular at night. Overall if you can book this property, it is really worthwhile and will provide a very memorable stay. ”

”Anna and Steve were lovely hosts, including everything in the cottage from tea and coffee, kitchen appliances and bathroom additions such as soaps and bath crystals. The cottage was beautifully designed and spacious, with a stunning back porch and front gardens with a fountain, large outdoor chess set and picnic areas made this holiday tranquil and welcoming. The guest book was extensive with information on the cottage and places in the area to visit. Thank you for having us, we loved our stay....

”Quaint 1853 property, recently revamped with original features. As described, this is a property with character, friendly owner, lounge area with log fire and access to a garden. Offered fruit cake and Port / Sherry upon arrival. Would recommend staying here. ”

”Lovely room overlooking the river, very comfortable bed, big shower. The hotel is beautiful decorated, with indoor sitting areas and plenty of room on the veranda to watch the passing boats.The manager is very friendly and helpful always with a smile. We would stay again, walking distance to the Main Street shops and restaurants and to Griffiths island to explore. We stayed 3 nights.”

”The hotel is a charming old villa in a nice neighborhood with village like shopping and cafes nearby. The downside of the old house is that taking luggage up the stairs to your room is not easy. The room size was ok and the bathroom was spacious with a jacuzzi, which we did not use but could be very nice. We had a dinner in the hotel restaurant, which is decent - however I chose a vietnamese main course which was a mistake. The breakfast was included and we could have it outside on the deck.”
