”Beautiful room & beautiful view from the room. The room was very clean, has a nice kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and cooking items. The restaurant food was also very good. The restaurant is at the Lodge. There’s a nice walking trail along the water from the lodge & a marina within a short walk. We took a boat tour, from the marina, that was wonderful & saw many manatees at the marina.”

”Refurbished rooms were a joke. Couldn't see any TV because we were not given the password for the internet. My bed had a section that made you feel like you were in a hole which was near the edge of the bed and a hump in the middle. Never could get comfortable. The second floor room was very small, and pretty run down, not at all like the pictures. Took 3 days, only lasted two, because we needed to get out of the hotel. ”OMG! The views! This is a sleepy little roadside place on Grassy Key but only a few minutes from all the fun in Marathon. These are older facilities but they are wonderfully maintained. The staff felt like family and couldn't have been more helpful. The "comp breakfast" was actually a full cooked to order "What would you like this morning" situation. We didn't use the pool or eat at the Hidaway Inn, which is the white tablecloth restaurant on site, but we wish we could have! You want room 10.”
