”What a terrific place to use as a home base to see the Everglades! The rooms are small, but cozy. They have a lovely balcony for use during the day - in the evening bugs may drive you inside. The restaurant is casual, the food is great & the staff can’t be beat!! They are very friendly and helpful. While there we took the backcountry boat trip. It was fabulous - we saw gators, manatees & lots of different birds. Make sure to hike the Anhinga Trail! We saw 5 gators & lots of birds & wildlife....

”Refurbished rooms were a joke. Couldn't see any TV because we were not given the password for the internet. My bed had a section that made you feel like you were in a hole which was near the edge of the bed and a hump in the middle. Never could get comfortable.
