”I love that this place is away from the tourist traffic. It’s quiet and I had a nice sunset view from upstairs. The decorations are adorable with a modern contemporary vintage style. The only thing that was not working so well was the remote control for the TV. And I was shocked that Telemundo wasn’t in the channels, because this was during the World Cup. Maybe if you would like to disconnect from media and tv, this would be great for you. However, WiFi is available, so bring your laptop!...

”Front desk staff was excellent. Pool and hot tub were a great addition. Sound protection was provided which was nice (ear plugs for light sleepers and a white noise machine was awesome). Breakfast wasn’t really breakfast but that was okay. Direct TV without access to log into streaming was the only downside.”

”The room seemed recently remodeled. The location is perfect with walking distance to everything Solvang or a quick drive to Buellton/other. I would definitely stay here again when visiting.”

It was our first trip to Solvang and we are already planning the next trip. Such a cute little town. ”It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The town itself is super cute, but the hotel is even more charming. There’s a cozy fireplace in the lobby and outdoors, plus a lovely garden with fountains and roses. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and parking very convenient. Thank you, Wine Valley Inn, for your wonderful hospitality. Tip for travelers: plan your drive to or from Santa Barbara during the daytime so you can enjoy the lake views and stop at the CachumaMuseum ”

They offered a danish, coffee, hot water for black tea the hot tub is ready to be demolished like most of the hotel. the floor around the pool needs to be replaced someone is going to fall. The hotel is very old. There are cracks all over. The receptionist is behind the computer, you have to speak out so she can help you. There is no maid service unless you stay 3 nights or longer. ”This is a great weekday value as you can often stay for under $240 a night. Weekend can run $400-$500. That is not worth it to be honest. Breakfast is very continental but decent. Room is very large and bathroom is excellent with great water pressure in the shower. The inn manager Caroline is awesome. ”
