We just loved our stay in this lovely apartment in the centre of Lucca. Everything was really good, the location, communication and the beautiful apartment in the lovely neighborhood close to the shops and restaurants. Would definately recommend! :)

Lovely apartment in a great location in Lucca. Lovely welcome from Paola with some excellent recommendations for restaurants. Each was visited and one where we enjoyed an anniversary lunch. The jewel was the garden - secluded and quiet. Would definitely return!

Mitten in Lucca - besser geht es kaum.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche bei Paola und ihrer gut eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Man haust im Zentrum von Lucca, ist mitten im Geschehen und erreicht die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig. Die Wohnung ist sauber und mit allem eingerichtet das man für einen 1-2 wöchigen Aufenthalt benötigt. Paola ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr tierlieb. Wir können sie mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen und würden auch jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen!

Sehr schönes Appartement im Herzen der Altstadt

Optimale Lage, Beschreibung im Inserat passt ganz genau. Lucca ist fantastisch und wir kommen wieder. Das Appartement ist ideal für zwei Personen, hat sogar einen eigenen kleinen Innenhof zum gemütlichen Beisammensitzen. Die Vermieterin war sehr aufmerksam und zurückhaltend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nettes Appartment im Zentrum von Lucca

Das Appartment liegt inmitten der Mauern von Lucca. Es ist auf 2 Etagen aufgeteilt und schick eingerichtet mit kleinem Gartenhinterhof, ideal für 2 Personen, max. 3. Es gibt nur 1 Schlafzimmer und nicht 2 entgegen der Beschreibung im Inserat. Die 2. Schlafgelegenheit befindet sich unten in der Küche. Das WLAN funktioniert leider nur draußen im Garten. Parken ist nur außerhalb der Mauern von Lucca möglich. Nächster kostenloser Parkplatz in ca. 1,3 km Entfernung oder kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz in ca. 250 m.. Die Besitzerin und Sohn wohnen mit im Haus. Sie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Check in und check out erfolgte reibungslos.

Appartamento molto carino nel cuore del centro storico Lucca. Tutto è al massimo a 8 minuti di passeggiata: comodo per visite ai luoghi di interesse e ai ristoranti. i locali erano puliti e l'atmosfera davvero incantevole. Dotazioni complete per un soggiorno davvero perfetto.

In the middle of the best little city in Tuscany

The apartment was better than expected. It is clean and near everything we wanted to do. Paola and her were more than helpful in directing us to the local super marceto, various excellent restaurants, and a pizza shop directly across the street. The apartment t is on Via San Paolino just up from the bus station and the city information office - very handy. Paola and her daughter Francesca suggested several activities and Francesca drove us to a local villa for an afternoon visit. The next time I am in Lucca I would definitely hope to stay at this apartment Allen Jenkins

Lovely Lucca

The apartment was in a perfect location to enjoy all that Lucca & surrounding areas had to offer, especially the wonderful restaurants, beautiful old streets, the bus & train station. It was easily accessible from Pisa airport by bus, then a 5 min walk. We were lucky to have had long sunny days during our two week stay and loved to sit in the courtyard on our return each evening. It would have made such a difference to have had a small fridge and kettle on the ground floor, then we could have enjoyed our breakfast & lunches outside as well which was difficult with the kitchen on the 3rd floor. Paulo is a charming & helpful host, she quickly responded to any queries that we had & made suggestions in relation to our travels. We found our Lucca experience quite enchanting.

Lucca perfect location

This property has an amazing outdoor space in one of the most central locations we have ever stayed in. We were able to walk to all the amazing sights. My one suggestion would be to have a small frig on the main floor since the kitchen is two levels up on a circular staircase inside. It is better to use the outside stairs.

Stilvolle Wohnung in exzellenter Lage

Die Wohnung liegt in einem mittelalterlichen Haus, sie hat Säulen mit schmuckvollen Kapitellen und eine gemauerte Gewölbedecke, dazu eine unaufdringliche, passende Einrichtung. Dies alles ergibt eine einzigartige Atmosphäre. Wie in einer Loft-Wohnung bilden das Schlafzimmer, der Raum im Zwischengeschoss und die Wohnküche einen einzigen großen Raum, der durch eine massive Wendeltreppe erschlossen wird. Die Ausstattung der Küche mit Koch-Utensilien ist nur mittelmäßig. Die Lage der Wohnung zwischen Busbahnhof und Stadtzentrum könnte besser nicht sein, zwei Supermärkte und zahlreiche kleine Geschäfte sind fast vor der Haustür. Trotz der Lage mitten in der Altstadt fühlt man sich nicht eingeengt, wozu vor allem der mit üppigen Grünpflanzen und Blumen bestückte kleine Innenhof beiträgt. Paola half uns bei allen Anliegen sehr rasch, freundlich und verhielt sich fair. The apartment is situated in a medieval house, it has columns with ornamental capitals and a large vault. All of this effects a unique atmosphere.The sleeping room, the bedroom in the mezzanine and the parlor kitchen, connected by winding stairs, are together one big room, like a loft apartment. The cooking equipment in the kitchen should be more complete. The location of the apartment between the Lucca bus terminal and the center of the city could not be better. Two supermarkets and many little shops are very close. In spite of this central location in the narrow old town you do not feel restrained, especially because of the little courtyard with its green plants and flowers. Great location with 12th century character

We really enjoyed our stay at Paola's property. It's right in the middle of the town but it is so quiet when you are inside. The property is full of 12th century character! We will definitely come back to stay again when we visit this charming city! Thank you very much Paola for everything and being so flexible with us.

Great location and welcoming host

Lucca was a welcomed change to the hustle bustle of larger cities. The apartment was within immediate reach of all your needs and interests. We did make use of the charming courtyard just outside the downstairs bedroom. A narrow circular staircase took you upstairs to the kitchen and living area. The lighting on the stairwell could be improved. The kitchen was well equipped but needs basic reusables such as paper towel, salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You don’t normally travel with these things. The opera performed nightly is an absolute must see. Perfectly safe walking back to our cosy flat later in the evening. The bus station is just 5 min away and we took a day trip to Pisa and moved onto Florence using the bus. All good.

Außergewöhnliche Wohnung Mitten im alten Zentrum von Lucca, dabei aber ruhig

Paola ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Die Wohnung ist gut für 3 Personen geeignet. Das dritte Bett ist auf einer offenen Gallerie. Wir haben es genossen schnell im quirligen Zentrum von Lucca zu sein mit Geschäften , Restaurants aller Art. Auch kochen ist in dieser Wohnung in der Küche , die sich oben befindet gut möglich. Wir haben alle Utensilien, die wir benötigten vorgefunden. Besonders schön ist es in dem Innenhof umgeben von großen Pflanzen zu sitzen. Die Wohnung ist auch an heißen Tagen gut temperiert. Wir haben an einem Tag eine Fahrradtour mit E Bikes durch die hügelige Umgebung gemacht. Das war ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Vielen Dank Paola Von Petra und Michael aus Berlin

Great little apartment in good location

We stayed here for 4 nights last week and we enjoyed our stay. The main reason for this choice was the outside space and this is lovely. It was easy to find. After arrival at Pisa we caught the blue VIA bus from the airport for 3 euros and arrived at Lucca bus station which is literally a few minutes walk from the apartment and easy to find. There are many buses to lots of different towns and a railway station just a little further which can get you to cities further away. The facilities are basic, however the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need. The outside stairs are really useful to get breakfast down from the kitchen to the patio as the spiral staircase inside scared me a little. Outside of the apartment there is everything you would need shop wise and restaurants everywhere. We didn't have a bad meal there and it was not expensive. Lucca is a beautiful city oozing with character and there's always something going on. If I come back for a longer visit, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Paola for her welcome and explaining a little history of the apartment.

highly individual stepped small flat in historic building near Lucca centre

There was no description of the layout of the flat provided and had there been we would probably not have booked it as an older couple due to the number of steps involved to the living area. There is a lovely courtyard with table , chairs and parasol (for sole use but overlooked by the surrounding houses ) which leads into the attractive vaulted brick ceilinged bedroom downstairs. Downstairs there is also the very small bathroom containing a washbasin, toilet and shower ( no bidet ). There is a corner spiral wooden staircase in the bedroom which leads to a mezzanine after 10 steps, enough room for a large single bed. The staircase continues for another 10 or so steps up to the small dining room and kitchen area. In the dining room are two small comfy chairs , behind the table which is too big for the room size and number of people and if it was smaller would create a greater feeling of living rather than dining space. The dining room and kitchen area are warm, light and bright, the bedroom and bathroom not so much. You can access the courtyard from the kitchen balcony, down a steep staircase. An 'upside down' arrangement of the flat as the living area is upstairs. Paola was very welcoming and helpful , telling us about the nearest supermarkets , good restaurants , rubbish collection etc.The position of the flat for visiting lovely Lucca was perfect.
