We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment although it is 82 steps up to get to it. The location was perfect. It was very clean and charming.

Perfect location. Stunning interior appointments. Responsive hosts. Everything inside and outside of this TOWER apartment added to the ambiance of my favorite city in Italy: Lucca. The 3 of us were traveling for several weeks, in different climates, so we had heavy luggage. As the hosts warn and others commented, there are 72 stairs to climb, which we did several times per day, so a bit of caution here. We appreciated their transparency and booked it anyway. Thrilled we did - we loved it! (I am 73 years old)

Perfect accommodation for visiting Lucca

Excellent located, close to Porta Elise, at one end of Via Santa Croce. You can get on the Wall path, visit all the old city inside it. Loved the bedroom at the last floor. I can not think at anything to improve.

Amazing holiday

The 5 of us had a great holiday staying in this lovely apartment. Centrally located in easy access of beautiful churches, great veg shop for home cooking in this excellent kitchen, lovely friendly cafes and easy train connections to explore further away. We are so glad for your comments, we couldn't be happier. Thank you for staying with us and we truly hope to have you back in Lucca.

the biggest hidden gem inside Lucca

Probably the biggest hidden gem inside Lucca. You need to book it. Aside from the amazing photos of the place. It’s inside the tower. You and your people would love it!

A great stay

Lovely welcome from Cristina. Great location, great size and very well equiped. Wonderful views from the kitchen window. We were three couples and really enjoyed our stay here. Our only issue was the water pressure in both of the showers. It was dire and really needs looking at.

Great Place

This apartment is cute and in a great location inside the walls of Lucca. The bedroom directly across from the front door has the most comfortable mattress, IMO. The bedroom upstairs has a great view. It really felt like home for 12 days, and I’d stay again in a heartbeat. Also, pack small bags. Carrying a large suitcase up 72 stairs is not an easy task.

Great Location & Lots of Space

Perfect for our group of 5 with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Heat issue in apartment was fixed immediately, so very happy with response time and professionalism. Upstairs bathroom challenging for tall people due to low ceilings.

Great Location and very relaxing place to stay

Everything went very smoothly from booking through departure. We were there during the summer concert season and at night we would open our bedroom window and let the music drift in. House was well stocked and management easy to communicate with. Convenient to everything. You should be comfortable with stairs as there are quite a few. Was t an issue for us, but something you should know. We would rent again.

Beautifull location but missing the last

Very pretty appartment in a superb location. Many mosuitoes, very hard to keep rooms cool, power went out twice. Staff didnt inform clearly on check-out procedure, so we waited hours in vain. Half the time during our stay, they didnt respond to our calls, and when we did reach them, there was negative communication. But the place was pretty, central and local

Beautiful and Spacious apartment

This is a beautiful and spacious apartment to stay in in Lucca. I stayed with my husband and two adult daughters and we were very comfortable. The location is great, it is in the old town and only a few minutes walk from all the main sights. Plenty of restaurants very nearby - you can see 4 from the windows and the food is delicious in all of them! If you want to cook at the apartment the kitchen is well equipped with pans/cutlery/crockery etc. The apartment has unusual and quirky rooms in a medieval tower, very nicely presented with comfortable beds and beautiful views over the roof tops. There is air conditioning which considering the heat of an Italian summer we were very grateful for. Because it is high it is also very quiet but there are quite a few steps to the front door. There is also a laundry room which is really useful. Would definitely recommend the apartment and would stay here again!

Flott opphold i spennende by

The amenities were perfect. Everything I needed. And it was a magical place, in the tower! A few issues, but Manuel took care of all he could.
