”Beautiful room, stunning view from room 4. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, and if you are heading out for walks, they can provide a packed lunch if you order the day before. There must have been at least 5 extremely wellbeahaved dogs at the hotel that were owned by guests, its a super dog friendly place. There are towels to dry off the dogs and also a sink outside undercover with warm water tap to clean the dogs if needed.”

”Highly recommend staying here in the woodland cabins. We had a 3 night stay here with our dog and it was great. The cabin is comfortable and comes with all amenities needed, as well as a hot tub to relax after long walks around the Lake District. It’s located close to a trail which runs all the way to Lakeside on Lake Windermere. From here you can get boat trips and ferries to most places. Breakfast was standard full English, with cereals, pastries and tea / coffee. This was ok and self serve....

”Weilte 5 Tage im Hotel The Coniston Inn. Die Lage des Hotels, unmittelbar in Seenähe und etwas ausserhalb vom Ort Coniston (kurzer Fussmarsch) gelegen, ist schlicht wunderbar. Sehr ruhige Lage, eine Bus-Haltestelle vor dem Hotel und eine grosse Gartenanlage mit Sitz- und Erholungsgelegenheiten. Das Gebäude ist ein typisch englisches Landhaus.
