”The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean. Breakfast was exceptional! The garden beautifully maintained. Would definitely recommend. Location close to the motorway but felt we were miles away.”

”The staff were very welcoming even when we arrived very late (23:50) somewhat wet and bedraggled after a horrendous drive in the rain up the M6. We were met with an understanding smile and given clear directions to our room. The room was clean and warm with a comfortable bed. The room overall was a little tired. We would be happy to stay again.”

”We stayed during the hottest May on record, and the AC system in the rooms was not operational as we were informed by the front desk, that this functionality is only switched on for summer. As the room windows only open a few inches, it made for a hot and uncomfortable few nights stay.”

Bathroom needs deep clean of tiles, taps or preferably refurbished as bath chipped and holes in tiles from previous fittings very poorly filled. Paint chips on the furniture. There were lots of local events on the weekend I visited (22nd May-24th May) and hotels all appeared to...

”Very basic tired property. Bath/shower needs improving and shower curtain needs removing. Staff and food at lunch were good but breakfast and staff could of been so much better”

”This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.”
