”Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! I’d recommend bringing some shopping with you, as the nearest shop is around a 30 minute walk away, however if you don’t mind driving it’s only 5/10 mins down the road to the...

”We had a very nice stay at Gowel, cozy, well equipped with all you need, located in good area with easy access to attractions points and hiking areas. ”

”A great straightforward little cottage, nearby parking, good sized rooms. Everything you need for a uk break”

”Myself and my 2 sons and my 3 grandchildren loved the cottage. Lovely place would recommend it very highly. Never had any interaction with the people who owned the cottage. Would definitely go back. Thank you.”

”Amazing, spacious and beautiful house. Perfect location for exploring Porthmadog, Snowdonia and Portmeirion. Nice beach 3 min walk from doorstep. We loved it!”

”I think the name means darling accommodation and it certainly is. I gave five stars for cleanliness but would say it’s worth double that, absolutely spotless. Owners have thought of so much to make it perfect. It’s much better than the pictures so many nice touches and too many to mention.Short walk to the riverside if you talking a dog, PLAS YN DRE very close and dog friendly serves nice food. Good bakery close by. We loves the appartment and Bala, which is very friendly.”

”Kev was helpful & on hand if required.Cottage was situated to visit places easily.Could confirm on website to bring plug if required to charge mobile phone otherwise everything easy to use. Would go back”

”Well located just a couple of miles outside Caernarfon. Only 10 minutes drive from an excellent riding stables, 20 minutes from the wonderful Dinas Dinlle beach. Pub about a mile away in Bontnewydd with some decent pub meals. Plenty of parking space at the location. Very peaceful with a comfortable outside seating space. Well equipped kitchen - only a small freezer compartment in the fridge which was absolutely fine for us but would not be suitable for anyone hoping to bring a lot of frozen food...

”5* on everything Highly recommend”

”The lovely cottage was not as clean as it could be. Great location, comfy bed and furniture, finished to a high standard, lovely log burner and decor. ”

”Lovely house, clean and tidy throughout. Everything we needed was there. Beds were a bit hard ( personal preference) first night it took a long time for heating to warm house but the gas fire made it lovely and cosy. No sky tv.”

”What else can I say, this place was brilliant. A great place to stay for a family of four. We only stayed 2 nights but has everything you need. We will definitely stay again and for longer.”

”Great little cottage. Nice and clean and great location. About 6 minutes from zip world. Had everything we needed and would stay again”

”Plenty of equipment i.e cot +other items and fixings for stair gate”

”Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.”

”Excellent service, lovely views ”

”Cozy well fitted house with all needs ”
