”It’s an ideal place to stay in Kathmandu. Right in the middle of Thamel, so you’re right by the restaurants, bars and attractions but it’s off the street so is delightfully peaceful and quiet. All the staff were polite and efficient, breakfast was great- I got an excellent freshly made omelette snd coffee. The gentlemen who make them were both fantastic and deserve extra praise. Someone kindly carried my bag for me and they hired a comfortable and clean cab for me. ”

”In hotels.com web page they say that Dom Himalaya should have free airport pick up and you have to contact hotel 24 hours prior arrival. We did contact hotels twice but nobody answered and we have to take a taxi from airport. When I ask about the pick up, the hotel owner just chanced answered quickly and walked away. Other than that we had nice stay in the hotel. ”

Very central location in Thamel. Wifi works well and hot water available.
