”Little hidden gem! Absolutely stunning property. As soon as you walk through the door it’s like stepping back in time. Stunning decor with lots of character and interesting items to look at around the property. Host was warm and welcoming when I arrived. I will definitely be visiting this hotel again and have already started recommending to friends.”

”Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...

”Very comfortable room. Could not figure out how to turn the heat on and there is no one in the pub overnight to call on. Breakfast was disappointing.”

”We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean. The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable.”

”Thankfully we only stayed for one night. The room (number 4) itself was a good size and being on the ground floor, was perfect for getting overnight bags and the dog in. The hot water tap was in need of repair, sometimes water came out of the tap other times it was a trickle. The basin was missing a plug for the basin. I did raise both issues with reception staff. I wasn't expecting maintenance staff to come running on a Saturday afternoon, needless to say the tap wasn't fixed when we arrived...

”OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. Hope these...

”No business gets everything right every time. No one is perfect. But, the way a business reacts when things go wrong is very important. We checked in for two nights and the first night didn’t go well for a variety of reasons, including an uncomfortable mattress, a dodgy shower control and a toilet that wouldn’t flush. These issues were raised with the front desk who upgraded us to a much better room without argument or question. Thank you. ”

”Hotelli sijaitsi lähellä moottoritietä ja sinne oli helppo poiketa. Hotelli oli myös sopivan lähellä Dover'n satamamaa, josta matkamme jatkui seuravana aamuna. Hotellin vieressä oli hyvä aamiaisravintola. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hinta-laatu suhde oli ihan loistava. Voin suositella lämpöisesti muillekin matkaajille.”
