”Nice room, loved the custard cream biscuits. Overall very comfortable bed, clean and well presented. I would suggest blackout curtains might work better. Food and was lovely, restaurant gets busy so reservation was required, but would recommend it. Staff were nice and attentive. ”

”Fantastic stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Orkney. My room was beautiful with everything you could need. My bathroom was fantastic with a bath and a great walk in double shower with rain shower. The food is fantastic and I would highly recommend eating here even if you aren’t a guest. All in all a fantastic stay and hopefully I will be back soon”

”This cottage is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the location and view of the sea. We did have a little difficulty getting heat the first night but with Catriona’s instructions, it worked beautifully after it started up. We enjoyed having the washer, which enabled us to pack a little less and do a load of laundry half way through our trip. Kitchen was well stocked with all the items needed to make meals at home. We absolutely would recommend this beautiful place in “The Hope”!”
