”Original description made it sound like the pool was in close proximity to the unit along with being able to watch the sunrise. Not so. While the walk and crossing the street to get to the pool was not a huge distance, it was further than we wanted to walk. The Gulf was beautiful, the sand was HOT and rough walking on it barefoot. All in all we had a wonderful time. Weather cooperated and we returned home to a 25° temperature difference. We are already talking about next year.”

We grilled each night, swam in the pool, made ourselves pina coladas and took advantage of the peace and quiet to read books and play games. We had a great time!”

”Absolutely loved this little 2 bedroom. Everything was exactly as described and more. Everything from the little goodie tray with extra soaps, teas, waters, etc. to fans (if needed) stowed neatly away under the beds. If we forgot something I can guarantee it was there if we needed it. You'll find everything you need for the beach from coolers to umbrellas and inside everything from seasonings to laundry soap was provided. It was totally unexpected but a pleasant surprise, we had no idea there...

”This property was exactly how it was described. Amenities were great. They even have a bottle of wine waiting for you. I spent my birthday weekend with my family here and it couldn’t have been any better. Communication with hosts was easy. Place was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. ”Our family had a great time at the Beach Shack. It’s a safe area, and we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and local bars and restaurants. There is shopping nearby too.
