”Room wasn't clean ”

”Our first time to Beaufort and we stayed at the City Loft Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff and convenient access to our room. The location is spot on if you want to walk the sites of downtown. We'll definitely make this a top stay for us next visit”

”An extra charge was added to my credit card with no knowledge about the charge until I called the front desk at the hotel to inquire. I was told that an alarm clock was missing from my room as if I needed it. Without a phone call, I was charged. Unacceptable behavior from management at the hotel. That was sneaky behavior! So maybe someone else took the alarm clock and blamed me?????An additional charge was unexpectedly added to my credit card without my prior knowledge. I discovered this when...

”Parking was private and super easy. Room 6 was large, spacious and very nicely accommodating. Shower was larger than expected with excellent water pressure. Location is near a very busy intersection with views of the water, the swing bridge, and lots of action but so worth it to be part of it all for downtown’s hustle and bustle of small town Beaufort, SC. Almost walking distance to everything. A great place to stay.”

”Wonderful historical family owned inn in center of town. Nicely appointed and decorated big room we stayed in. Friendly hospitality. ”

”Breakfast and treats were good. The Inn is under reconstruction so the outside is a disaster. Parts of the inside need renovation too. Our bathroom was not good.”

”The room was clean, beds comfortable, and quiet enough for restful sleep. We did not use the gym or partake in the breakfast but the coffee/drink station in the lobby was well stocked and clean. Definitely will stay again. ”

”What looked like a great start because we were allowed an early check in, turned upside down when the room assigned had out of order air condition and fridge. Instead of being transfered to another room, a technician was sent to reset both equipments but after one hour they were still not working. We called several times without nobody picking up at front desk. We came down to be assigned a new room but front desk didn't offered any concerned apology or compensation, must likely the lady looked...

”Front desk did not answer the phone. Pillows thrown at the bottom of the bed- no pillow cases on them. A pair of socks had been left on a shelf. Shampoo and lotion pumps almost empty. No hot water- barely warm in the shower. Of the 3 front desk employees we had contact with, only one was pleasant. Need to get their act together.”

”Rooms were clean and ok, but atmosphere around a little scary. Works well for one night lodging, if you do not need anything else.”

”Older hotel! Needs an upgrade! Location was excellent on the marsh and had easy access. Staff was friendly and treated people well. ”
