”Great location. 3 mins from a great beach and near 2 places within walking distance to eat in the evening. A great room with everything you need for a few days away. Staff at the hotel were really accomodating washed and dried our towels and tshirts as we had been on the beach. Beach wraps available to use and a parking permit for the beach so it was free to park. Breakfast was huge and could be afapted as you liked it. Great roof terrace where we did some star gazing on the first night we...

”We had a lovely waterfront room on the third floor. View was great with floor to ceiling window. Bathroom was tiny but light and modern. Room was clean and comfortable. Not the best pillows. Hotel interior was lovely and spacious, clean and nicely decorated corridors to the rooms. There is a lift.”

”I have stayed at The Mariner's many, many times particularly over the past 3 years and i thoroughly enjoy my visits. The staff are exceptionally friendly & welcoming. ”We spent one night at this hotel. The hotel needs an update. Our room was on the top floor and there was no lift in the old building, which meant a lot of stairs. Breakfast was OK and staff was friendly. The hotel had a small car park.”

    West Dale Beach is secluded and only accessible by walking over the fields from the village. It faces west into the Irish Sea, so it can be flat calm or the waves can be driven crashing onto the beach by a strong westerly. Great location for sunset photography.
