”The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff, especially Hind and Ishmael were outstanding. The breakfasts were extremely good and fulsome. We loved our bedroom which was huge and had a lovely terrace. It is about 25 minutes from the centre of Marrakech so a hire car is preferable, but an easy drive into town.”

”Fantastic place! In the middle of Atlas mountains, facing the giant Toubkal. Hamid is a very friendly host, always ready to help. Rooms are spatious , with heater and warm water, breakfast is full of good things to start the day… and they can provide tasty dinners to top it all. Will defenitely recommend for anyone wanting to wander around Atlas mountains or climb the Toubkal. Otherwise you can spend hours looking at the mountains on their sunny roof top! ”

”We really enjoyed our stay at Dar Sohane. The riad was located very close to the main square, but still on a very peaceful alley. The staff was super friendly and was even able to offer us a vegan breakfast. We were also able to find some fantastic vegan restaurants from a close distance - such as Henna Art Cafe and Earth Cafe. Our room was spectacular, but the common areas didn't really match to our expectations. Even so, we absolutely loved to stay at Dar Sohane!”

”Hyvä Riad majoitus hyvällä sijainnilla. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Matkustimme tammikuussa joten lämmitys oli hyvä asia. Wc tilasta puuttui ovi (suihkuverho sen tilalla), mutta talossamme oli pientä remontointia menossa ja asia ehkä korjaantumassa. Rauhallinen ainakin nyt hiljaisena aikana. Voin suositella. Portaita, joten ei sovellu liikuntarajoitteisille. Kauniit vanhat historialliset puitteet asumiselle. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja tarjoilijat hyvin ystävällisiä ja avuliaita.”

”Specially if you are travelling in these "winter months" it was very warm, cosy, nice room. The bed was huge!! I was on my own in room, and i could have slept in bed which ever way, it was so big. Wifi was working so and so. And there was no hairdryer, so if you need one, take it from home. my room was facing the inner courtyard so it was very quiet, allthough you could hear talking from the next room. ”I cannot recommend this hotel at all. The rooms are very worn out and not very clean. Air-conditioning did not work in one of our rooms and the room also had very bad sewer smell. The other room had problems with water pressure. The staff was ok but not too helpful, even if they were so many of them all the time at the reception. Empezando, cuando llegamos al riad, un marroquí nos ayudo a encontrar el lugar a 5 cuadras del riad, cuando llegamos nos quizo cobrar 200 MAD una locura para lo que había sido, en ese momento nos abrio Hafid y no nos ayudo en nada, solo nos dijo que a la siguente vez nos pusieramos en contacto con el hotel para que pasara alguien por nosotros. ”Kamal at the front desk and the other gentleman are amazing and very helpful ! Also the restaurent staff were super nice ! I think Abdulatif and another guy. The only downside is the hotel is very quite, limited dining / food options and transportation! ”

”Spacious rooms, sweet and professional cleaning ladies whom I gladly tipped after our stay. Two streets away (max 5min walk) from a main street in the new area, with shopping mall Carre Eden. We usually took a taxi for Medina etc. Breakfast basic, fit our needs. Nearby some nice modern restaurants and bars. I would stay here again!”
