”I liked the balcony and the view the most. I do wish there would have been two comfortable chairs inside the room. We didn’t get around to using the jacuzzi. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator was noisy.”

If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. I so want this place to succeed, but it seems there are not enough visitors to keep up all services and...

”Well, the view was wonderful and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and kind. Standard size room. Good water pressure. Clean towels and bedding. Iron board, microwave and refrigerator. 2 comfortable chairs and a small table. A desk and rolling chair. Only 1 bedside table with a small drawer. between the beds. And 2 clothing drawers to put clothes in. There was also coffee and a pot but I didn't use them, and a hair dryer too. The room smelled funny when we got there, like...

”What a beautiful place, made us feel we were back in France with the outside gardens and art gallery. Kyla at the front desk was great as a concierge, helping us with our planned hike at Fort Flagler State Park. Definitely going to stay again.”

”The room we paid for was very small. There was hardly room to walk around the bed. There was a rustic bench to put items onto, no cabinet with draws. The bathroom was down the hall, and the window was wide open at 9 p.m. allowing a gale to blow through. I closed it. The sitting space outside the room was always cold. There is rustic and then there is deferred maintenance. The furniture is very well used, the carpet had hole in it on the stairs. No one offered to help us carry luggage up...
