Huvilat – Marrowstone Island

”The place was a lovely historic castle, very beautiful and nicely restored. The room was a bit small but really nice, the bathroom was huge and looked brand new. If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. I so want this place to succeed, but it seems there are not enough visitors to keep up all services and...

”Air conditioner filter was moldy, uncomfortable bed, creaky floors, toilet was not clean, human hair on sheets and pillows, road noise was horrendous, had to climb staircase to second floor. you have been warned”

”The main complaint was the outlets. They would not hold our plugs for charging our devices. I realize Port Townsend is a resort/tourist town but $200/ night for this place seems a bit high for really NO amenities. Enjoyed the town though!”

”Decent hotel. A bit shabby, but that’s Oak Harbor. Shower didn’t work in bathroom and it was too late for me to get it fixed before check out.”

”Cool building in a great location. Only has stairs to the second and third floors, which is fine but might be tough for some. Great friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We try to stay here when we can when in Pt Townsend”
