"This was a comfortable stay in a clean 1960s room at a dive up to the door 1 story motel. It was overpriced at $135 plus tax. We travel a lot staying in 45 hotels per year. For the 3rd week in Northern Maine at $85 this would have been a good place to stay."

"We loved this place, not least because our River View room gave us a beautiful outlook. We even saw a seal swimming past. The two beds were big and comfy, the room had been renovated and a real person on reception made a nice change. I strongly recommend this place."

"This is a lovely place to stay. The location couldn’t be better - due both to being on the lake and proximity to hiking trails, other lakes, and Downeast towns.
