The hotel is nice and clean. The quality of service and politeness depends on who you're dealing with. The cleaners of the hotel were super lovely, polite and did an excellent job! Hotel satisfies the basic needs, but doesn't give any extra. We asked a room from upper floors or with a view but weren't able to get one. Windows were next to neighbour building's wall.
Breakfast was good.

"We are so pleased we booked the Royal Lion! The location is excellent and you're right in the heart of Lyme Regis. The room we booked (deluxe double room with terrace) was excellent. Clean, welcoming and comfortable. There were extra touches like the selection of teas and coffees as well as biscuits ..."
