Matkat – Martis

We left our towels on the floor before leaving the room in the morning, expecting them to be changed. However, when we returned in the evening, all the dirty towels had been hung back up on the racks as if they were clean. Unfortunately, we only realized they were still dirty after we had already used them to shower. When we went to the lobby to address this with the tall woman at the reception, she responded aggressively, stating, "It's not like you wash your towels every day at home." When we asked if this was how they treat their guests, she replied, "I don't care what you do, it’s none of my business." Aside from the terrible service, the rooms were extremely small—there was not even enough space to open a second suitcase—and there was no view. The breakfast was mediocre and nothing special. Overall, the hotel offers very poor value for money, but the unprofessional and rude behavior of the receptionist was particularly upsetting and unacceptable.

Wonderful hotel, wonderfull stuff!! Clean rooms, close to the city center, very helpful stuff. We felt very welcome!!

Siisti kolmen tähden perushotelli. Hyvä allas ja allasalue, surkea aamupala vähäisine vaihtoehtoineen, vanhahtava sisustus. Huoneessa pieni baarikaapin tyylinen jääkaappi. Henkilökunta melko kontaktihalutonta. Autolle löytyi hyvin ilmaista parkkitilaa hotellin läheisyydestä. Älä valitse tätä hotellia, jos haluat ihania aamiaisia tai muuten erityistä laatua majoitukseltasi. Castelsardo on kaunis ja hyvä kohde, josta kannattaa autoilla lähikaupunkeihin ja rannoille.

Great secluded location!

Staff was extremely friendly. Big kudos to the check-in process and information provided. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Beds are very comfortable and AC in every room is appreciated. Unfortunately this hotel, in my opinion, is not close to be a 4 star hotel. This created expectations that were not fulfilled. The facilities looks a bit abandoned and old. The apartment was old, especially the toilet looks very dated. There are a lot of wasps around, so dinner outside is impossible. The fact that they place the recycling bins at the balcony makes the wasps problem even worst. I would suggest placing the recycling bins far from the apartments. The large pool you see on the pictures is closed, even mid summer. So don’t expect it to be open during anytime. The only open pool is quite small and crowded. The worst experience was the garbage team hitting our door very hard while we were sleeping to collect garbage. The kids were scared and I woke up in rush thinking there was a fire or something. Please don’t hit guests doors before 10:00 as we are on vacation and are allowed to sleep as much as we want. Off the gusts do not answer, come back later, don’t keep hitting harder and harder.
