”Quiet neighborhood. Very private even though it was in the back yard. Separate entrance and privacy fenced. Close to town easy to get to. Washer dryer was convenient. Oven wouldn't turn on during our stay, so we could not make breakfast, if that was working 5 stars.”

”We both loved this little place! It was described perfectly and met all of our expectations. While it was further out and on the opposite side of Fredricksburg than every activity we did, it was super nice and in such a peaceful location. Our little deer friends hung out with us all weekend! The house was perfect for the two of us. It was very clean, contained everything we needed, and we had zero issues. Oh, and that shower was amazing! The patio was awesome too! We didn’t get to spend much...

”We loved this historic home stay. The breakfast bakery goods were such a special touch. Drinking coffee on the porch swings each morning was delightful, and the patio for evenings was perfect. We want to come back in the fall to sit around the fire pit! Location is great for enjoying Main Street breweries, restaurants, and shopping. Accommodations were great!”

”Lamp on right side of bed didn’t work. Ceiling fan started making a loud tapping noise at 2 am . Had to turn it off. ”

”The Bowie Cottage was very comfortable and clean. It’s a lot roomier than it seems from the outside. The backyard is a great size and has a sitting area with nice big trees for shade and a cool breeze. Although the cottage does not have a full kitchen… the 2 mini kitchenettes worked great for us. It is a quiet location and just a couple of blocks off Maine Street. The host reached out with a welcome note and a helping hand if needed. Great trip and wonderful little cottage.”

”The location to all the shops on Main Street is perfect! Cute, little place. The bed was pretty comfortable and there was ample bedding/pillows. Place was clean inside. I did forget my own body wash wanted to use the free little soaps in the bathroom, but it had clearly been used and placed back into its box. The outside amenities were pretty dirty, especially that swinging bed. I understand that it is spring and there is a lot of pollen, however, nothing had been cleaned or wiped down prior to...

”We didn't use the hot tub or fireplace but did turn on the firepit out side. As it was very cozy but it was just to hot since we were there in June. Room was perfect and the host responded to our call immediately. Great host, great place!!”
