”Upealla paikalla tämä vanha sairaalana toiminut hotelli. Meillä oli kaksi huonetta varauksessa eri kategosiasta. Edullisempi huone oli parempi ja toinen huone mikä oli kalliimpi oli remontoimaton mutta isompi. Remontoidut huoneet ovat ihanat, eli kannattaa panostaa sellaiseeen. Hotelli hyvitti toisen huoneen samaan hintaan mutta huono maku jäi sen suhteen. Aamiainen on vähän sotkuinen eikä mikään ihmeellinen, perusbuffetti. ”Beautiful hotel, great welcoming staff (from front house to restaurant to pool). Room was perfect - especially the view. Beds were very comfy, parking location ideal!. *Something out of the hotels control which was negative was the families / kids creating mayhem in the pool area. Inflatables and ‘dads’ jumping in was quite frankly embarrassing. After 2 minutes I left (sadly the 8pm adults only swim was around my dinner reservation). ”

”Rather a waste of time booking in online as requested by email prior to stay as all info had to be completed on physical book in anyway. Very small room - should really be just a single bed. Very nice decor. Armchair should be swapped out for an upright dining chair to create a little more space. ”Newly tastfully decorated, staff friendly and attentive. Standard of food was on a par with pub grub, so not for foodies, also the dining room windows needed a wipe down due to dead insects. Wardrobe in room almost useless for hanging clothes full of other items . Better provision for hanging your cloths is needed, the wardrobe was small and was used to store a fridge, safe, hairdryer and ironing board. In short a potentially very nice hotel let down by attention to details.”

”My stay was a fairy-tale moment. Our rooms were at the very top of this castle BnB. Beautiful building lovely grounds with a garden and walking trail. Clean ,comfortable and inviting. The manager showed us around upon arrival. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room was beautiful. Loved our too short stay.”

”We can’t say enough about this incredibly special place. We found the history of the tower and the surrounding area so intriguing. The recommended walk along the Tweed River and the nearby arboretum were beautiful. Make sure to stay at least a couple nights.”
