”As soon as we arrived we were greeted nicely and given the information needed and were checked in. The room was fantastic, large, clean and really well equipped, the bed was huge and very comfortable, we had a nice view and the bathroom was clean and roomy. The spa was lovely and we had a lovely relax in there . We had a nice couple of drinks in the bar and watched the football. The breakfast in the morning was really nice with plenty of choice. ”Great hotel, great staff and great breakfast. Only downfall was that there was no air conditioning in the room. Very uncomfortable, especially when the temperature that day was 34 degrees.”

”As we didn’t book direct with the hotel our evening meal wasn’t included. That wasn’t a problem as you could dine in any of the restaurants for £30 per head. Traveller’s be aware though if you didn’t want to dine in there was no other food purchase options available after 4pm. They don’t offer room service either. The grounds are extensive and it’s not possible to walk to anywhere.
Take snacks with you as there is a fridge available in the room.”

”No air conditioning, despite being advertised as having it, waited 40 minutes to check in with no apologies and when I got into the room, on the hottest day of the year, the room was 48 degrees with a window that opened two inches!!! I requested a full refund from the duty manager who didn’t seem to care at all and kept us waiting another 40 minutes before arguing that because I bought it through Expedia there was nothing he could do. I got Expedia on the phone who confirmed I had paid at the...

Great good sized room along with good sized bathroom with powerful shower over a bath.

”Situated on the ground floor during a heatwave wasn’t great. We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened.
The young man who served us for the evening meal was very attentive and very polite which was nice to see. Not so the staff at breakfast.”
