”The property is beautiful. It is across the street and 1/2 blk from the beach.close to shops and places to eat. The rooms were fine and clean. Loved the pools and pool towels were provided. There was a nice cafe at the entrance that had great breakfasts. (Lunch too at cafe and pool bar had evening meals). Staff was very helpful. Our flight back to mainland was in evening and we were able to use the pool all day after checking out & there was a hospitality room we could use to shower before...
”An older property that seems to have aged gracefully. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hallway, and I think this was a lifesaver. There’s no noise cancellation of any kind and had we been closer to the elevators, it would have been impossible for js (admittedly rough sleepers) to sleep. But as it was, we slept great, listening to the sounds of the waves.
The beach is great (much much better than some more expensive resorts), and having sunbeds on the grassy yard...
”I've always stayed at the The Whaler whenever I visit Maui..This resort is centrally located and next to the whaler village..This 1 bedroom suite was amazing and so spacious!!! The rooms are very well stocked with towels, it has a Full kitchen complete with utensils and cookware, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and a laundry room, It has all the amenities of home. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!”
”Was a first time in Maui and in this hotel. Got an upgrade to a studio with a kitchen and a balcony. The room was awesome and super clean and comfortable! All the neccessary kitchen supplies to make breakfast, lunch ot whatever. Microwave, stove, oven, large fridge and freezer. The bed was excellent to sleep in.
