”We stayed in Room #1 in the main building w/ shared bathrooms. Upon arrival, I couldn’t find the front office. A guest told me I should have received an email or text with the room code and check-in instructions. I never received either. Since I booked through Expedia, I also checked for messages there but found nothing. When I contacted the owner about not receiving the check-in information, she didn’t seem concerned. ”A very underwhelming experience. A property whose glory days are behind it. We got a message a few days in advance that the air conditioning will be out of order until June. Not a big deal, but it left a sour taste that the attendant in check-in told us "I just heard that the air conditioniong in your room is out of order". Later we found out that also the laundry room and the gym were out of order as they had experienced a fire of the electricity system. Lack of transperency is...

”Was a first time in Maui and in this hotel. Got an upgrade to a studio with a kitchen and a balcony. The room was awesome and super clean and comfortable! All the neccessary kitchen supplies to make breakfast, lunch ot whatever. Microwave, stove, oven, large fridge and freezer. The bed was excellent to sleep in. You can rent dvd's and playstation games at the lobby with no charge, nice thing to do in the evening. Also free of charge tennis outside. The hotel pool area is beautiful with one big...
