”We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel.”

”Older decently kept property. Stairs were an issue for my disabled husband but we managed. Never could get the tv to work. Lots of animal, I suspect cat waste in the gravel leading to the entrance.”

”Brilliant view to the roof of the hotel with a massive cooling fan making noise all night. Not so nice actually. Restaurant is complicated and for a tourist a bit uncomfortable. The staff doesn't really make contact with you and you don't know when to order, where to order, how to pay etc. It's a time machine. Stuck somewhere in 90's /2000. But clean at least and location is nice.”

”Had to request bath towels as they didn’t leave any and when I requested some I got told we didn’t need bath towels as we didn’t have a bath in our room we had a shower !!!!! No bedding for the sofa bed as we didn’t request any!!”

”A short distance outside Troon. Peaceful country place. Doors quite loud when closing. Small gap on shower door allows some shower spray to wet outside floor. Inside room lock did not work. Overall peaceful stay”

”The room we had should be decommissioned. We were a group of 4. It turns out the room only accommodates 3 (The photos of that specific room show 3 beds: a double and two singles = 4 bodies. We were two adults and two children). I’d argue they should only rent out to singles, as in one single person per room. The roof is peaked in the main space and bathroom so we spent our few days hunched over and banging our heads. The only airflow in this attic space was the skylights and we were very...
