”The Townhouse was the best place we could have landed upon our arrival to Scotland. Our room was immaculate & the bed was very comfy, which we needed with the big time change. Allison was a wonderful host & breakfast was delicious. We loved exploring the area... it was located on a quiet residential street, but still within walking distance of many good restaurants & shops. We would not stay anywhere else upon our return to Ayr. Highly recommend this lovely boutique B&B!”
”Brilliant view to the roof of the hotel with a massive cooling fan making noise all night. Not so nice actually. Restaurant is complicated and for a tourist a bit uncomfortable. The staff doesn't really make contact with you and you don't know when to order, where to order, how to pay etc.
It's a time machine. Stuck somewhere in 90's /2000. But clean at least and location is nice.”

”This is a modern hotel in an historic house with a fantastic restaurant attached. Not sure if the two are owned by the same group but probably. The check in is all virtual, no hotel staff are on site, and it went smoothly however I did have to step outside to get a decent cellular signal in order to check in. Close to the railway station. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Highly recommended!”
”This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking.
This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn.
Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been...
