”Our second stay at GMH, we stayed in the hideaway, which was very spacious and had a great bathroom. Breakfast is great and cooked to order.
The only disappointment was that they couldn't accommodate us for an evening meal. Tables were laid out and reserved. But there were plenty of tables free, in the bar and the nook (think it's called that), which we thought could have been laid for us as we were guests. So we had to wander around to find somewhere to eat before our show. Never mind”

”Disappointing all round. Room tired and shabby, plus not thoroughly cleaned. Spa showing its age (eg not all pool jets working). 30 min spa massage was actually closer to 20 mins. Emailed final bill included a “optional” service charge that could not be declined I.e not optional. ”

”It's such a shame because the Rose Cottage is in a great location but it was very tired and could do with a proper up grade. Cobwebs everywhere which I didn't mind but when I went to use cutlery, saucepans, glass jar they were dirty and I had to clean them. There's no dishwasher so maybe the previous people that stayed didn't know how to wash up by hand and the cleaner didn't check. Also the fridge wasn't turned on and took a long time to get cold meaning no cold beers with our dinner. I...
