âCloe the deputy manager was awesome! We had a medical event & she absolutely owned it! Rang 111 with us, relayed info,organised taxi to ED,showed that extra genuine care by sending us with water and biscuits, made sure the night porter knew we would need access & checked in with us in the morning extending check out without us asking! âWe had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode!
The room was extremely comfortable and clean.
We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly.
The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset.
Im an early riser, and i spend some time identifying the birds in the location.
Even a chicken popped in to say hello!

âWe loved our stay at the Lion Inn! From check in to check out and every moment in between the staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed in the Oakley Room and it was just perfect, a stunning room with gorgeous decor and attention to detail, only made better by the huge bathtub! We had breakfast on both mornings of our stay which was delicious and filling with a variety of options. I would highly recommend and stay at The Lion for your visit to the Cotswolds! â
