”Great place to stay. The room was perfect, and breakfast was a pleasure each morning. The only issue I had was that if you don't have a car, you will need a local UK number to use the Speedline taxi service. Uber does not work from there.”
”Had room overlooking canal basin. Very hot but fan in room. Fridge microwave and crockery provided with list of local takeaways. Was Stonehouse restaurant next door which was ok as no onsite restaurant. Steep stairs to first floor and no lift seen. Parking ok. ”

”A very simple & overpriced hotel in a good location. Room cleaning during stay not included, no room service or restaurant in the hotel neither. Just a vending machine with soda, chocolate and crisps. Staff (one person) in the reception 24/7. Felt a bit unsafe at times, despite the hotel entrance being locked after 10 PM. A small bathroom in which water from shower leaked to the floor. Wifi & air conditioning worked well.”
”Great little find. it was lovely to wake up and sit with a cuppa and see baby ducks, swans and squirrels. Peaceful, clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't try any of the facilities available as it was a one night pitstop but will be returning soon to try them out.”

”In an attempt to avoid travelling in the heat, we arrived very early. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to provide drinks.
We decided to stay for lunch and were not disappointed with the food. Steaks being cooked to perfection, with desserts of sticky toffee pudding and brownie being to die for!
When we did get to go to our room, we found it more than adequate, very clean and tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge to store our own goodies.
There was ample wardrobe space...
