”The location is good 5 minutes walk from the city center and 10 minutes from the beach. The hotel is very quiet, looking good but not maintained has it should be. Staff are not present, rarely there is receptionist and you have to call them if you need anything. We didn’t have any towels when we arrived and my bed sheets were dirty. No safe in the room and dishes were in bad shape.”

”Relaxing and lovely spot, can’t beat the beautiful beach right out the door with pelicans floating by. Setting is definitely unique, but friendly and chill and the space very comfortable. In particular we really enjoyed the pool for our 2 year old. Some minor mishaps in communication ahead of check in but they were resolved with care and responsiveness, and we got to thoroughly enjoy the weekend. ”

”This was a delightful place to stay. The condo is very clean and lovely. The king sized bed is very comfortable. The courtyard is lovely and contains one of the two pools on the property. The condo is about 200 yards from the ferry, and is right across from the town’s plaza (we watched all of the Dia de Los Muertos activities there).The eastern shore of the ocean is right outside, off your balcony. You cannot swim right there, but a short walk takes you to the swimming area. The souvenir vendors...

”My stay at Oceanside Villa "Campeche" was great. Our directions were easy to follow and the entry to the Villa was easy. The house was well stocked with water and coffee and plenty of towels. The view from the oceanside patio was excellent of the morning sunrise and the Caribbean. The location was good for walking to Playa Norte and many great restaurants a couple of blocks away. I would stay again, ”

"We were promised a suite with a sea view, a balcony overlooking the sea, and a jacuzzi, which we did get, but the room was on the ground floor next to the pool, meaning that everyone in the pool could see straight into it. This was not mentioned when booking. The balcony door could barely be closed, so anyone could have walked in if they wanted to. The room was basically clean, but worn out, the furniture was dirty from use, and the appliances were old. There was no soundproofing, so all the noises from the neighboring rooms and hallways could be heard and kept us awake. Draining the bathtub upstairs sounded like an airplane. "
