”The host and hostess were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Parking was in the property forecourt. The breakfast was well prepared and plentiful. The only issue was finding somewhere to dine. The local hotel could not accommodate us on the two occasions that we tried. The nearest was either Northern Sands or Castletown hotel both of which were a number of miles away.”

”On arrival had to carry cases up to the first floor, no lift no staff to help, first bedroom dirty and had no mirror. We were given another room still not very clean, shower had hardly any pressure and mould around the silicon. We were told there was a restaurant when in-fact it was more like a bar/ cafe. There was a coach party at the hotel and when we went down for breakfast they had left sometime before, so although there was a lot of breakfast food on the buffet heating plates it had...

”This was a favorite place on our travels throughout Scotland. In a peaceful setting, everything was lovely and immaculately cared for, with many extra nice and small touches. Jane and Richard were excellent hosts, welcoming us warmly, sharing helpful suggestions, and providing a wonderful breakfast with homemade bread. This was a great stay and highly recommend! ”

”Kayce was amazing. She greeted us and introduced herself- the room was clean and had everything we needed- fresh flowers. The dinner we ordered was excellent and to order the best meal we had on our trip so far. Everything was locally sourced and made by Kayce herself. She was literally just a text message away. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come stay again ”

”Had a great stay at Wayne’s lodge. The property was beautiful, scenic, well kept. The cabin has all the comforts you could ask for and Wayne was friendly and helpful. Recommended!”

”Andrea was an excellent host, the pod was clean and well stocked with everything you could need to make your own meals. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long drive. Highly recommended! ”
