”Staff were great and attentive. Particularly those serving at breakfast. Room was super cosy and cute. Only issue was that the smell of drainage hit us as soon as we opened our hotel room door - we were room 3. Fantastic stay otherwise and would definitely recommend. ”

”Lovely quiet room cold outside but room was nice and warm and cosy perfect for us as a stopover. The room and en-suite bathroom was clean and the tea/coffee/water was nice. TV and WiFi all good. Breakfast in the bar was good would highly recommend. ”

”I absolutely loved my stay at The Slaughters Country Inn. The whole place has this slow-paced, charming atmosphere that makes you instantly relax. The venue itself is gorgeous — full of character and set in one of the most picturesque areas I’ve visited. The coffee deserves a special mention: it was the best I’ve had on this entire trip so far. ”The breakfast menu was excellent, fresh and the coffee was very good. Parking very easy, had a space directly outside. Liked the books, magazines and Christmas decorations.”

”The room was lovely, really nice and clean. The staff were fantastic. Especially as they rang me to say I left my EpiPens behind (I didn’t get the message until I was home sadly) but they were super prompt to let me know. On checking in the lady (can’t remember her name) went “oooh I’m meant to be going home, but I can check you in” my friend was being booked in at the same time. ”

”Bedroom beautifully presented. Tea, coffee and water in the room. Comfortable bed. Warm and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked good choice of drinks and cocktails. Breakfast, full breakfast included, delicious and lots of choice, eggs benedict, eggs royale etc. Would definitely recommend and stay again. There was a loyalty scheme but they didn't explain it so i have probably lost out on a lot of points. But otherwise excellent. ”
