The pictures online are completely misleading. The pool was empty, and the room was damp with wet bedding. When we brought it up, we were told it was "just the Florida heat." Buckets sat under the outdoor AC units to catch dripping water. The bathroom door wouldn’t close and looked like it had been chewed through at the bottom. Fixtures and the ceiling sprinkler were rusted, paint was peeling off the walls, and the mirror stayed fogged from constant dampness. There was even dog feces in the outside hallway. When we asked for an extra sheet and blanket, we were told to buy them ourselves at Ross across the street.
It felt genuinely unsafe and unhealthy to stay here. The air was thick, musty, and triggered my allergies badly—it took days to clear up and even longer to get the smell out of my nose. Absolutely would not stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else risk it either.
