My four friends and I stayed here for 4 days and it was absolutely perfect! First, the host was so kind, not only did she let us have an early check-in, but she let my one friend who had a later flight stay even later past checkout, which was so incredibly thoughtful. Those two things alone were extremely kind. The location is perfect if you are looking to spend most of your time on South Beach and by Ocean Drive. It is literally a two minute walk, which is so convenient. The house was stocked with beach towels, shower towels, beach, chairs, and umbrellas. The house was clean and tidy when we got there. I loved that the two rooms upstairs had their own private bathroom and shower included. We had no noise issues with neighbors. Everything worked perfectly and I honestly could not have picked a better apartment for my bachelorette trip. If you were thinking of staying at this location… Don’t hesitate, just do it! You won’t regret it I promise!

Bed bugs ate us up

Do not stay here until the place becomes bug free. My poor wife is still covered from head to toe with bed bug bites, which required medical attention and caused extensive discomfort. We did communicate this to landlord. No refund, apology, or sympathy offered. Renter beware.

BEST BACHELOR SPOT

If you’re coming to Miami for your boys bachelor trip, this is THE SPOT STAY. Beach is right in the backyard, ton of nightlife, and it’s just absolute perfect spot for the boyz.

Location is excellent. Had a few problems with appliances. But the worst was the bedbugs in one of the bedrooms. Overall, a good experience.

Great stay!

This is a great location to access South Beach nightlife, the beach, and just around the corner from a bus stop. It was nice to enjoy what the area had to offer and walk back rather than take an Uber throughout the day. We spent 3 nights here before heading to the Keys for a week. We enjoyed sitting on the patio area overlooking the street below. We could see the ocean from there too! I gave a 4 star for location/neighborhood only because things got a little crazier after dark. Us old folks (3 couples in our 50s) watched things come to life from above. We are also from a rural area, so we aren’t used to the hustle and bustle of a city. That’s more on us and not the unit. We ran into the owners the one day as they were working on another one of their properties. Very nice people!

Hello Everyone! This location was great and the description is spot on! You are in the heart of literally everything. I definitely will be staying there again next time! Trips where I don't have to drive ANYWHERE after I check in are the best for me and my friends!

Skylark Condo - Miami Beach

The location of the condo was great. We were one block off Ocean Drive, so the location made it really easy to walk to the beach and enjoy all of the restaurants, clubs nearby. Very convenient. The bedrooms were a nice size, beds and pillows were comfortable, and the bathrooms were relatively nice, too. I appreciated all of the beach items - beach chairs, umbrellas, and wagon. We had an issue with the TVs, and reached out to the owners who were quick to respond. We weren't able to figure out the TV's but that was OK as it was our last night. Overall, however, the condo needs some TLC. The first impression of the Skylark condo entrance was super disappointing; it looks like it's been neglected for some time - felt a bit dirty. The refrigerator leaked a bit, we used paper towels to absorb the water that was gathering on the middle and bottom shelves of the refrigerator. We ate out for our meals, bought just a hand-full of items (cookies, peanut butter, jelly, loaf of bread, beer, fruit, and chips). The majority of the items were refrigerated, but we ended up having to deal with roaches on our 4th and final night. We found a can Raid under the cabinet sink, it really sucked and grossed me out that we had to deal with this on our vacation. And because of the items mentioned, I'm unable to recommend this listing.

Great location

Walk-to location with plenty to do without a car. Cafes, restaurants, the beach all a couple of blocks away. Parking was sometimes very difficult and usually pricy (this was during spring break, which lasts a couple of months). Stay was fine except the photos aren’t all accurate (balcony views are from the place next door; there is a bunk bed in the dining room). Beds are comfortable. If planning to work remotely there is no place to work at a desk (balcony hightop shown is actually next door, and dining room table chairs are too low and soft to work at table comfortably. However, most don’t come to South Beach to work!

Excellent stay and wonderful hosts!

Amazing stay for 8 girls on a bachelorette trip! Kathia was very accommodating to ensure we had a great stay. For example, I mentioned that the majority of us were flying in from red-eye flights and she made all the beds so we had less one thing to worry about upon our arrival. Superior location and waking distance from a lot of places. Pro tip: Go to the pizza place next door - it was so good we went every night! Since it was right on Collins Ave, be prepared to hear the sounds of a city that sleeps late on the weekends. Otherwise, it was a great & comfortable stay for a bachelorette!

Perfect location, helpful hosts!

Stayed here with 8 girlfriends for a bachelorette party, it fit us all perfectly! We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go from the unit, it was really in a great location. Unfortunately we were unable to use the balcony but the hosts graciously offered some money back for the inconvenience and offered to let us use the roof instead. Definitely recommend! We had a great weekend.

Girls Trip

We were a bit disappointed about the patio area since that was the selling point for us in choosing where we stayed in Miami, it was under construction but we were not told prior to our check in. The patio was completely empty so we could not use at all, also one of the bathrooms had just finished being remodeled (which was nice) the day we checked in and they did not clean up very well as my cousin stepped on a piece of glass coming out of the shower and cut her foot (small cut). Also please bring your own iron as the one there stained our dress, and make sure to only use one hair dryer at a time when using both bathrooms we were not informed prior and had to call Kathia which she quickly answered and told us where the breaker box was so that was a quick fix. Other than these issues it was a GREAT location in South Beach. Thank you Kathia

Great Location!

We had a great weekend at this property. Kathia was very helpful if we ever had any questions. Very close to the beach (about a 5 minute walk). The property was perfect for our girls weekend get away. Would recommend.

Perfect Location, Very Secure

This condo was beautiful. It's walking distance from everything. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed the huge balcony. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and dishes and there are lots of beach towels and supplies. The condo feels very secure and there wasn't excess activity inside the building, which we appreciated. Guests do not have control of the thermostat and there are several locked closets, which was not a problem but is something to be aware of. We did notice some rodent activity but there was no damage or mess and may not be avoidable in this area.

This condo has a great location - exceptionally near to the beach and was a great stay for our group. The check in was simple and all instructions very clear, with the host being very responsive. It was lovely to have the patio also, which was an added bonus. Great place to stay with a group if you want to be close to the action

What an AMAZING place and Location!

We came down to Miami for a bachelor party and this condo was absolutely perfect. It is located steps away from the beach and right in the middle of all the action. The owners were incredibly friendly and made sure everything was perfect for us. They even provided recommendations on food and tips for the area. The balcony was a highlight being able to relax with views of the ocean. We would 100% recommend this condo and I will certainly be coming back the next time I come to Miami.

Photos dont show actual sate of rental

We stayed at this property for an all girls trip/bday celebration. The couch my friend had to sleep on was sketchy she said cleanliness wise. As for the listing, it is leaning on the side of false advertising! The photos may have been from its very first rental days, but everything in there is broken now! We expected cute patio furniture we could sit on & this was far from the case. The dishwasher was broken, the beds were extremely hard, there’s mold in the bathroom & pretty much most of the kitchen & Beach items were all broken and useable! Thankfully We took out everything in that closet & tried it before we dragged it to the beach. Besides the beach towels, only 4 things in that closet we got to work! The rental is pretty run down, said there would be a hair dryer, there wasn’t one so we bought an unnecessary one, there wasn’t furniture on the balcony we could remotely enjoy as is it is tore up with foam coming out of it & gross & no dishwasher; didn't want to even attempt the washer. The beds are extremely hard and the couch is dirty! This is not what we we’re expecting vs what we payed for! Two of the girls only stayed one night & had to go get a hotel because it was that noisy & uncomfortable on the couches & they wouldn’t want to suffer the whole 5 day trip!. All of these things put a huge damper on my birthday trip & I wish we could have remedied these things, but trying to get a hair dryer & contact the owner to find something that's not there & get things fixed in your rental is the last thing you want to spend your limited time doing on vacation! Just an honest review, sellers never got back to us.
