”I booked two rooms, one for myself the other for my son. When we arrived we were given keys to our respective rooms and another for external door entry outside of opening hours. My key was just loose with no number. We were told that we could have a drink at the bar but needed to go immediately as it was about to close. The nice young lady who booked us in appeared to serve drinks. We sat down to have our beers on stained and tacky looking chairs and a large dog appeared and came and joined...

”It's a very old building with only stairs but staff was more than pleasant adverse helpful. They bought our luggage up to our room and then even brought it back down I highly recommend this place.”

”The wifi service did not work the entire time I was there. After asking several times about the issue, across 3 days and 4 staff members, each gave different answers. Ranging from it must be jammed up with many people using it to "I don't know, sorry", to I'll ask the manager, to we'll reboot it. One staff member said they had great connectivity. I pointed out that was the "staff wifi", not the guest wifi. Which connects for maybe 1-2 minutes then drops. And I tried at all times of the day. If...

”This hotel is nice enough but needs investment and to examine its pricing structure. It looks and feels dated. Everything was 'okay'. Clean with good staff, but the food and rooms were average at best and extremely overpriced. The most annoying thing for me was that a pint of lemonade and lime was more expensive than any of the pints of beer. That is simply wrong. I had an Executive Room. This just means that your room is in the original house rather than the annex. Again, it was 'okay', but...

”The room wasn't as clean as expected. The electric outlets didn't work. Someone came rapidly to fix it. At the restaurant, the server didn't bring us water like the others neither come back to see how we were doing. It is a good quality price. Even with those inconvénients, we would go back for a short journey. One or two days.”

”Yhden päivän ja yön matkalla Stonehengen kiville hotelli toimi hienosti. Parkkipaikka aivan hotellin edessä, joskin ohikulkeva tie piti jonkinlaista meteliä yöaikaan. Ystävällinen, nuori henkilökunta mutta vähän saisi harjoitella tilausten muistamista. Aamiainen lisämaksusta ja hinta 12£ ei ollut mielestämme kohtuullinen. Ympäristössä ei ole lähistöllä oikein mitään, bensa-asema ja pieni shop. Mutta olimmekin pikamatkalla ja siihen tarkoitukseen sopi oikein hyvin.”

”We went for a weekend with friends Parking was good. Didn’t eat in hotel. Went local pubs. Visited Southampton and Portsmouth. Breakfast hot and regularly topped up Rooms large and nice towels and toiletries”

”Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay”
