”Noisy from traffic, thin walls, banging rattlely doors and poorly sealed a/c unit. I asked to change room for the 2 remaining nights of my stay in the morning between checkouts and checkins and was told NO because they were going to fully booked that evening?”

”My assigned room had chunks of carpet missing. The doorframes were chipped and worn. The room didn’t appear to have been dusted in quite a while. The bathroom floor needed to be cleaned. There was an old molded coffee filter and grounds in the coffee pot. The refrigerator didn’t work and the front closet had a bunch of exposed wall anchors and missing shelves. Lastly, the wall nearest the window had suspicious dripping stains (disgusting). In all, not the greatest stay for the price. This hotel...

”We had no sink hot water. Were told it could not be fixed till next day. I asked for a differt room, he said(owner) they were full up and we could just use shower water. We were staying 5 days. No one showed up. We did find the lines were swiched with our own search. No one came the next day and we did NOT tell them we fixed it. 3rd day asked for clean towels and was informed I had to bring them to laundry and get even exchange only! I did go get them and then was told the laundry was closed”

”Pool was broken and employees kept saying a few more hours, few more hours. So dissapointed 5 year old. Shower door was malfunctioning and when reported was told maintenance would be up next morning. So it was never fixed making it extremly difficult to help a 5 year old get cleaned. Went to front desk, complained and told to contact expedia for some compensation..was told upon checkout there was a refund sent to expedia but never told how to get refund. Can u help with this?”

”My family and I experienced a sleepless night during our stay Saturday July 11, 2026, as a result of the lack of adequate bed space. Although we needed 1 Room for 5 Guests, ages 8 and up, the Marriott Select a Room screen offers a room with bedspace only 4 guests. I reserved the room believing that a rollaway bed would be provided along with 2 queen beds. This proved not true. I asked the Asst manager for another room or for a rollaway bed and she insisted there was nothing she could do to...

”Upon arrival looking at the outside of the building, I was a little skeptical, because the outside of the building could use a little cosmetic lift. But once we got inside the building you can tell that this location has been remodeled and the rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was very good, and the free drinks at the manager’s reception were on point! We will definitely visit this location again if we’re ever in Detroit again.”
