Tucked away on a quiet dead-end street yet just steps from Middlebury College, this beautifully renovated modern farmhouse blends classic Vermont charm with clean Scandinavian style, generous living spaces, and thoughtful amenities. Walk to downtown Middlebury’s restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and shops, then return to a peaceful retreat with plenty of room to gather and relax.

The Farmhouse features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, along with bright, inviting living spaces filled with natural light. Gather around the cozy fireplace, enjoy meals in the private dining room, or cook together in the expansive, fully equipped kitchen—complete with both espresso and drip coffee makers.

🛏️ Bedrooms & Bonus Space

The primary suite features a king bed and private ensuite bath, while three additional bedrooms each offer queen beds. Upstairs, a bonus room provides even more flexibility with a queen bed plus two couches that convert to twin beds—perfect for kids, teens, or extra guests.

📚 Literary Salon & Game Room

Pour a glass of wine and settle into the Literary Salon with a good book or board game. Downstairs, the game room keeps everyone entertained with pool, air hockey, ping-pong, and a large collection of games.

💪 Fitness Space

A basement workout area includes an exercise bike, adjustable barbells with light weights, and yoga mats, conveniently located near the laundry and half bath.

Step outside to a large, peaceful backyard with a terrific firepit—an ideal spot to unwind after a day exploring Vermont.

Fast Wi-Fi and work-friendly spaces make The Farmhouse equally suited for college visits, graduations, ski weekends, fall foliage trips, extended stays, or simply a cozy Vermont getaway in the heart of Middlebury.
Shoes Off: Please keep dirt and germs out by removing your shoes at the benches provided. Shoe shelves can be found inside the mirrored cabinet.
No Smoking/Vaping: Absolutely no cigarettes, cigars, vapes, joints, pipes, or anything similar inside the house or on the covered porch. If you smoke in the backyard, please clean up after yourself.
If You Break Something: Accidents happen. If you break a glass or anything else, please inform the host along with a photo. In most cases, we will just replace it. For more precious items, we will discuss it on a case-by-case basis.
Please Don’t Take Souvenirs: All items inside the house are provided for your comfort and convenience while you are our guests. Do make yourself at home. However, please do not walk away with towels, throw blankets, robes, hangers, mugs, kitchen utensils, or any other non-consumable amenities. We will provide links to products you may wish to buy if you enjoy them. We check our inventory upon each checkout, so if we find items missing and you did not send us a photo to report accidental damage, you will be charged.
