”The rooms are a bit dated, as are the buildings but best place to stay to visit Cradle Mountain with kids. Loved it all! We saw platypus and wombats right outside our room. The restaurant was fabulous and all the staff were very helpful.”

”Staff were friendly and welcoming. Cabin was clean and comfortable surrounded by bushland and just a stones throw to the national park. We woke up to Pademelons having their breakfast right near our cabin which was very exciting.”

”The opportunity to stay in this heritage listed property is amazing. Karen and Steve have done such an incredible job of providing such a comfortable and friendly stay. The room was just perfect, from the furnishings to the little extras like the bottle of Port in each room. A lot of thought has been put in to the decor and everywhere you look you will find something that catches your eye. They also offered to drive us to and pick us up from dinner in Queenstown so we didn't have to worry about...

”We were married here in 2015 and return regularly. It is a truely unique place, away from it all out in the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. A place to relax, get in touch with nature, escape the hustle and bustle and recharge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a little outdated. The king beds could use an upgrade ie. make them a king, not two singles joined in the middle. But the cabins are warm, light filled and surrounded by the rainforest. We stayed as a family, 2 kids under 5,...
